There are so many wonderful genealogy resources on the web, that I've taken up tracing my ancestors again. My main surnames under active research are: Amick/Emig, Apperson, Boswell, Boyle, Comer, Eubank, Farnsworth, Ferguson, French, Hunt, Inyard/Enyart, Jones, Lacy, Lampton, Lee, Lemaster(t), Lykins, Moore, Wilcox - mostly in KY, MO, NC, WV plus some PA/NJ.
Here are the files on the descendants of Jabez Jones -- Nancy Bean/Beck. Their descendants share a web of relationships - and a tighly knit clan that still gathers every two years for a family reunion. These families were pioneers of Cooper Co., MO. This database is also found on Rootsweb's WorldConnect Descedents of Jabez Jones & Nancy (Bean?) Beck.
One of my main research lines are the descendants of Johannes Amick and
Eva Dorothea Rotter, immigrants from Alsace who came over on the Pink John &
William in 1732. My line moved to Cooper Co., MO in the mid 1800s. This database
is found on Rootsweb's WorldConnect
Descendants of Johannes Amick & Dorothea Rotter.
There is also an AMICK-L/AMICK-D surname list available via Rootsweb. If you are
researching Amick/Emig/Emich/ etc, please join us! See http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/a/amick.html/.
After years of unsuccessfully researching this line, internet-using cousins have helped
to fill in some early info. Here is the index for my Comer
ancestors. The Comers were Quakers who travelled from Pennsylvania to the Carolinas and
on across the US with stops in IL, MI, MO, IA and OK. My earliest information is on
Robert Comer b. ca. 1704 in Chester Co., PA.
Another version of this database is found on Rootsweb's WorldConnect
Descendants of Robert Comer & Rebecca Houghton with Allied Lines.
Please also consider joining the COMER surname list on Rootsweb
[see http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/c/comer.html].

I have begun putting various other family lines up on Rootsweb's WorldConnect system. Please enjoy:
Additionally, I have created a Cooper and Howard County family WorldConnect file containing all the Cooper Co. biographical sketches from the "1883 History of Howard and Cooper County" with a smattering of Howard Co. bios and bios from the 1919 History of Cooper County Missouri by W. F. Johnson. Disclaimer : The genealogical data within these pages come from numerous sources, and the author is constantly updating & correcting the information.
