He m. 19 Nov 1709 Damaris Howard of Mansfield. Witnesses to their wedding were: Susannah, John, Daniel and Henry Farnsworth Anne Howard and others.
In his will, probated 2 Dec 1747, he is called yeoman; his ch. were named. The executors of his will were his wife, Damaris and his son, Samuel.
The will of Darmaris was probated 24 Aug 1751. It has been indicated but not proved that a grandson, Ameriah Farnsworth was the last male descendant of the Samuel line.
Samuel filled a number of township offices, the last in 1735.
